I was sitting here looking at some of the help provided and some of the delays to answers and it struck me that we should create an active Apple community on dAmn.
Since there is never a guarantee that #Help or #h3lp will have someone knowledgeable in Apple we need our own place.
For this reason I have created #AppleChat. The purpose for this room will be for discussion, appreciation, and support.
I would like to build this up and make it active and a popular stop for support and I hope you will join me. If you would like to be a part of this en devour please fire me off a note just with a little bit of information on how you can help whether through providing support in the room, through advertising on your journal, or through any other means.
I will work over the next day or so to create some catchy titles and setup some rules and a deviantART profile page for the room (help with CSS would be great!).
For those of you thinking... \"Safari doesn\'t like dAmn\" here is how to get deviantART Chat to work with Safari:
- The help section has some details here: [link] - Firefox is always an option: [link] - Using Safari 3.0 on Leopard or Tiger should simply work
Again the room is: [link] lets make this an active community so we can help each other out in real time! I will start getting everything setup later tonight when I get home from super.
Seems you still can't have dAmn running amongst other tabs in the same window with Safari 3. Firefox can, though.

Well given that #help is for official deviantART support that's why you aren't going to find any help there for things related to this as for #h3lp our problem is we don't have a lot of active #h3lpers (aside from myself and two other people). Getting more active people in there would solve the problem.
Latest Safari on latest Leopard will work for a few minutes in dAmn for me.

I hate that! I do like my Firefox extensions though. I don't think I could go without them for very long.
