Need a dedicated PIXEL ARTIST to help with remaking Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

Like the title says, I am looking for a pixel artist, to assist me in remaking this game. This is a paid position, and I do pay per animation, in addition to paying a bonus when anyone completes an entire sprite sheet for a character. This remake of the game is being made in Unity, so I now have a lot more freedom from a graphical perspective.

I am looking for someone who can upgrade sprites/backgrounds from the game to make them look more detailed as shown here: <img src="i143.photobucket.com/albums/r1…" alt=" photo oldrichterremake_zps2f817c53.png">

In addition, I will also need some new sprites, backgrounds, decorations and effects. I am looking for someone who can FULLY DEDICATE themselves to this project, and am willing to pay well to have a LOT done. So you would have a steady stream of revenue coming in and I am very reliable and available to offer direction as needed. This is  a serious project and has a blog here: sotnhacked.wordpress.com/

PLEASE NOTE: if you are working on a project already, be aware that I need someone who is willing to give this their full focus and attention (not to mention the faster you work, the sooner I can pay you and send another thing which = more money for you).

Anyone who wishes to apply, please take the sprite below and upgrade it similar to what was done to the sprite above; this one is of a red bone skeleton. You can make the sprite up to 4x larger if needed (considering that it is a small sprite, it can be larger, but please do not go overboard with it).

PLEASE BE AWARE ANY APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT EMAIL ME THIS DEMO PIC WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Also here is a link to all of the sprites in the game already; in case you want to check your particular style against it: www.spriters-resource.com/play…

Looking forward to hearing from you guys and spending some $$$. Thanks for looking.

BUMP! I have one artist so far; I could still use one or two more.

There is no contest; it is merely showing me that their art style will match what I need (in essence; interviewing lik any other job). It is better than me asking someone to remake something, then the person possibly spending hours on it.... only to find their style doesn't work. And no, just checking portfolios in the past has NOT worked. This also eliminates me wasting time emailing all the people who simply send pre-formatted emails to EVERY thread in here.

This is a paid position NOT a free one; please learn to read.

From a legal perspective, people remake sprites all the time; it is called a FAN work. Their is nothing illegal about it.

Lastly: this thread will do fine; if you don't like it too bad. Don't reply. Simple. Especially with such nonsense.

You asked everyone who replies to do original work for you.  That is called a contest, and is prohibited by the rules of the forum.   The projects forum is that way --->

"From a legal perspective, people remake sprites all the time; it is called a FAN work. Their is nothing illegal about it."

Willfully infringing a copyright for money is not only illegal, it could be considered a criminal offense.   Don't lecture professional artists on their business.  Listen to people who know better.  You'll be much happier and more successful.

I am not making money off of this; I do it for fun. I am paying people to make NEW sprites for me, so they would not be breaking any laws either.

Take your paltry squalor elsewhere; I'm not interested in your rubbish nor do I care what you think.

"PLEASE BE AWARE ANY APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT EMAIL ME THIS DEMO PIC WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED."

This is a contest, which belongs in the projects forum, to say nothing of the fact that pros don't work for free.

Also, unless you have a license from the original developers/publisher of Castlevania, paying someone to "re-make" it is quite possibly a violation of U.S.C. Title 17 section 506

If you are interested in making an original game using pro quality pixel art, post another thread with the necessary changes and you'll probably have better luck.
