Need approximately 1012 frames of sprite animation to finish our game project.

Who am I:
I am William McDonald project manager, writer and level designer for Dungeons the Eye of Draconus.

Our situation:
Our game that has been in production for over four years now. Our sprite artist [link] disappeared six months ago. We are quite worried about him actually, everything had been going fine and he said that he had the rest of the sprites finished and that he would send them once he got home. We have received no messages from him since 5/25/12 and it's gotten to the point where we need more artwork before we can move forward with the project.
The game is almost finished, what we are looking for is someone who can match our previous sprite artist's artistic style and animation so we can finish the game with a consistent look.

The work load:
Some of the missing characters have draft animations and concept sprites that need to be fleshed out into fully detailed sprites. Some will require sprites/animation completed from scratch or based loosely on photographs, these will include three bosses, three regular bad guys and six background characters. One of the bosses is partially complete, the other two are actually the same boss in different forms (one in a nerdy form the other in a hulked out form). One of the bad guys and three of the background characters are modifications of previously made Ork Bros characters. Our Smurv Thief of the bad guy sprites involves making his last two animations from scratch and detailing the color of two of his other animations. The last two are new enemies that haven't been drafted, but are based off the Smurv boss and Smurv thief characters. The background characters are a mayor of a ruined town, three generic peasants, a little girl and a Smurvette background character for our Smurv village.

In addition to these characters we need a powerbar, a sprite shrine (single still image) and an animation of our hay cart sprite on fire.

Some more information on the project:
We pay $500 per mile stone, 3 mile stone in all.
Project starts late December, early January.
We would like all the sprites finished by March 29th 2013, but this is negotiable.

Do you have a deadline for when all the sprites have to be finished?

Just making sure people see the example sprites that are already in our game. We need a sprite artist who can match style, color and animation so that it doesn't clash with the already present artwork.
