For you creative writers experienced with character and plot development, I am seeking a co-writer for use in a steampunk themed-fantasy game.
Experience with screenplay writing is desired but not necessary. All written work will be made in screenplay format and shared using open-source software. This is a creative position aimed for individuals who have a passion for writing in the fantasy genre and can tastefully craft multiple story arcs.
If our game is produced commercially, we will offer in-game credit and possible royalties. As this project is funded out of my own pocket, I will entertain commission offers but will give preference to those applying to this project for academic experience and pure passion.
If selected, you will be working closely with me and we will work with the rest of the development team via our IRC chatroom. This will be a long project, so please make certain of your availability prior to contacting me.
Please submit a short (1 page or less) sample of your writing that demonstrates some sort of rising conflict between two or more characters.

THE STAR LEGACY is a story of genuine love, found against all odds in a world torn apart by war. With two of the world's superpowers engaged in an all-out confrontation, our hero must betray his country and cross over to the enemy to be reunited with his soulmate.
