Welcome to the deviantART Hardware Forum.

This is the place that people come to discuss Hardware Topics. It can be a great, friendly, and engaging experience as long as you know and follow a few simple rules.

It is vitally important that you become familiar with the Etiquette Policy [link] This will tell you what is and is not acceptable here on deviantART, and it's a valuable resource. Following these rules will keep you out of trouble, and will make your experience more enjoyable.

While this is the place for Hardware discussion, it is not the place for every discussion. There are forums made specifically for things like movies, books, games, and software. Scroll down the main forum page first to see if there is a more suitable category for you to post in before creating a thread here. It helps keep everything clean, and you'll get better responses. Let's also remember that this is a place for discussion. Journal entries should remain in your journal, and personal issues should be kept personal.

Before you make your first post, you might want to lurk for a little while. This way, you can see what the general atmosphere is. You will also be able to avoid posting a topic that is overdone, which will help keep the forums entertaining and original.

So let's have fun! Enjoy your stay on the forums, and come back soon. :)

For those looking for advice on purchasing digital cameras, the Photography Forum's What Camera Should You Buy? READ THIS FIRST!! thread is your best bet, rather than posting in a forum dedicated to computer hardware.
