I've been wanting to buy a tablet but ahe no idea where to find them online or any where else. If you know of a site or place that sells tablets plea tell me.

And my other question is what software to you recommend for a beginner in animation?
And where ohow can I purchase it?

Thanks. :)

To buy tablets either Amazon or Ebay because I have no idea where you live, and those two sites seem to service the world.

With regards to animation software I dont know a whole lot about animation but I would suggest Adobe Flash, although there is quite a learning curve to it, but also very fun to use too, besides there is a like million tutorials out there on how to use Flash. You can buy Flash from again Amazon or Ebay, or from Adobe directly. Go to the Adobe website for a free 30 day trail of the Flash software

Flash is a rather expensive program for as beginner. There are good programs that are good for starting with:

Pencil is free and is made to work with a tablet:

There is Express Animator which is like Flash but easier to use:

Plastic Animation paper for animating with a tablet:

And finally, more expensive but has a natural animator's interface with Flash based vectors to draw with, Toon Boom Studio:

As others said, ebay and amazon are good places, I got my tablet from ebay for seven euros (but the seller was amazingly stupid. :XD:).

Otherwise google is your friend. ^^

Flash doesn't really have a user friendly interface. Programs like Pencil and Toon Boom is more geared to artists who can use them.

Amazon.com has some very good prices for tablets. At best stick with the Wacom brand since they are reliable and well supported.
