I haven't been around for a while and I seem to have lost track of who's doing what well.

So, in the aged old fashion of threads that I hated so much back in the day :)

Link me to:
- your favourite piece of dA lit
- your favourite dA writer

and give me a few reasons why they're so scrumptious.

It seems a fantastic paradox, but it is nevertheless a most important truth, that no architecture can be truly noble which is not imperfect.

This is an old one, but it's still my favourite: Boris the Manskinner by ~TheHungerArtist

I don't know about favourite writer as I haven't been reading anyone regularly off late.

My favorite dA writer is ~are-bee-s, hands down. Her prose is the best I have ever encountered on this site. She is skilled at creating characters, and she has an amazing talent for imagery.

I don't know what my favorite piece of writing on dA is.. I have quite a few in my favorites. I suppose I'll go with Braille by ~alice-ophelia (who sadly seems to be inactive now), because I remember it pretty well. It's one of the few pieces I revisit periodically. The characters are strong, and the narrative engrossing. It's well-structured. The voices are clear and the prose itself is excellent.

What about you?

`leoraigarath, his writing continually moves me.
I'm hard pressed to pick a favourite piece by anyone, though.

Anyone who didn't pick [link] is a dirty liar. [link] is pretty good too, though.

As for why, I was always impressed with the imagery of ~AngelicAzriel's story. ~barnabus is just absurd.

[link] That has always been one of my favorites. *xiooua has been one of my favorite for a while as well.

Favorite poetry writer would have to be =queenhrosie .... prose is harder, but I really like ~Satah's use of sarcasm in her works.

Favorite lit piece at the moment would have to be Acceptance by ~ottersandsky. Hers is one of the few surreal fiction pieces I genuinely like :)

I want to take a journey inside *orphicfiddler's mind. However, I must be satisfied with her gallery, which is filled with magic, myth and music.

In particular:
