THE RULES -- READ THIS BEFORE POSTING

[x]
:iconsparrowsong:
Welcome to the poetry and prose forum! Before you post, please read these rules and remember that we have two other literature related forums which can be found here:
:bulletred: Fantasy Lit

:bulletred: The Lit Workshop
:star: The Rules! :star:
:bulletpurple: Keep it Lit. If there isn’t at least some literary linkage to be made, then perhaps it would be better suited to another forum or our CR lit chatroom: #GetLit
:bulletpurple: Do NOT post thumbs or links to your pieces for critique or comments! That’s why we have the Literature workshop
:bulletpurple: Be civil. Flames are great for campfires and cold winter nights, but they don’t have much place in this forum. It is okay to joke around or be stern with each other, but keep in mind that the other party might not perceive your humor or intentions the way you do. If you feel you are being flamed or baited, step back, breathe, and contact an @mn or one of your Lit GMs.
:bulletpurple: If there are any other issues we should be aware of, please contact an @mn or a Lit GM. We are here for you.

:star: Lit FAQ:
:faq286:
FAQ #560: How do I add a Literature Author tag to appear with my literature deviations? How can I remove this tag later?
:faq555:
FAQ #63: What is the policy regarding preview images used for literature submissions?

FAQ #251: You prohibit the submission of 'pornographic literature'; what do you consider this to be?
FAQ #627: Is there a character limit for Poetry/Prose submissions?
FAQ #196: What's the difference between Prose and Poetry?
:star: Your Lit GMs, in reverse alphabetical order:
^StJoan --Administration, Contests, Conflict Resolution
^SparrowSong-- Education driven Resources, Projects, Forums
^LadyLincoln --Clubs, Chats
^fllnthblnk --Publication driven Resources

Also, I will be locking old threads that are revived. The original poster does not need to receive replies to a thread three or four years after the thread died, and a lot of these are too long to be navigated easily to find the one new post.

Archive threads in your journal or shoutboard. Make new threads for old discussions. Let the sleeping dogs lie.
