I love graphite, although I rarely use it completely on its own anymore, I find them top-notch for doing value studies (an area I need vast improvement on x_X)

I started out doing fantasy-anime styled stuff with Photoshop (when I was about 13ish), switched to traditional media (fell in love with watercolors), then decided to take a more active role in improving my work, so I started doing studies and life drawing and such. I guess now my style is a complete 180 from where I started, cause now I mostly do realism :) (still some fantasy sometimes).

I'm addicted to trying new media. I'm currently on a kick using felt-tipped markers :D

I´ve tried watercolors too, but i am not really into with it. I use them without water because these pencils have a good and strong color, but i use them very rarely :D. I used photoshop several times, but it is not the same like drawing with pencils. It is a funny thing but i do not very much with photoshop now.

No, i belong to the graphite pencils. Now i am really an expert with it :D. I like drawing especially portraits, but sometimes i try to do something from my imagination. My latest work here [link] is a good example :). It is some fantasy stuff :D.

What is a felt-tipped marker ??? I´ve never heard about that ^^;.

They're markers that have a flexible brush-shaped tip made from felt fabric. Not sure if thats technically the correct term for the ones I specifically use (Faber Castell) but the term just stuck with me :D
:iconsilentdeath007:
Lol, thanks for the explanation :). I think i know what you mean :). And Faber castell is a well known brand under the pencil manufacturers .

I also love graphite pencils...I don't work with them as much as I have in the past as lately I've been fascinated by acrylics. It would be hard to say what my fav style is...differeent at different times. Realistic with a touch of surrealism, maybe :)
:iconsilentdeath007:
You´re working with acrylics ? Must be difficult. I have never drawn with acrylics :). I admit that i never tried much with colors.
Thanks for your comment :D.
