Hello all and welcome to the official deviantART Traditional Art Forum. Here is a few tips and pointers to read and consider before replying or creating your own thread:
Since this is Traditional Art, please keep all topics relative.
- You may post threads asking for advice or opinions on a piece you are working on. - You may post threads asking for advice on supplies, mediums, accessories, etc. - You may post threads asking for discussion or debate in regards to traditional artists or movements: past or present. - You may post general discussion threads, but don't let them get out of hand. deviantART already has an official forum set up for such posts, the Deviants Forum.
- You may not post threads to complain about specific styles, mediums, etc. without offering any kind-of insight on how you came to this conclusion. Those belong in the Complaints Forum. - You may not post threads for the sake of posting threads. i.e. No spam, kthxbai. - You may not post threads specifically to "bash" or belittle another genre. Even though this is a forum driven towards Traditional Artists, that doesn't give you the right to complain about Photographers, Writers, or Digital Artists. Keep that in your Journal, or off the internet entirely.
Bottom line? Have fun. Keep it somewhat related to Traditional Art. Make friends, learn something new, offer some of your own knowledge.
If you break any of the aforementioned rules, it will result in your thread being locked.
