With a digital camera "film" is free so when I start shooting I will literally take hundreds of shots from many different angles and with different lighting and camera settings for the same object. When I am done shooting I delete anything that is blurry or unusable then start uploading my new stock. My question is, generally how many shots of an item is appropriate? I do mostly objects (not people) so I usually up a front, side, and maybe a top view, I have 90 other versions but don't want to spam.

You could always put them into packs. Or mention in the description that you have many more shots if someone can't find what they need in what you uploaded.

Thanks.

I have made a couple packs but they don't seem to be very popular. I think I will do both, put 3-5 images up and the rest in a pack and list the pack in the comments of the images. ;-)

packs are an option. I usually pick one or a couple of what I think will be the most commonly used angles. If I want to upload more than 5 I'd copnsider making a pack. Do you know how to make a pack?

Thank you, I will up a half dozen images and stuff the rest into a pack. Yes I do know how to make them, thanks.

Personally I think between 1 and 50 is a good basis for a series of individual shots - any more than that should be considered in a pack etc.
