i may be the only one but i am getting a bit fed up with people showing no recognition for others work, i.e just taking and not fav'ing, i expect a few to forget or just take us for granted but the number seems to be getting larger. We work hard to supply stock etc. for fellow artists to use then you get people just plain stealing, i am seriously considering watermarking everything and having people request the pictures.

This would find more echo in the stock forum here: [link]
I don't expect people to fav my stock when they use it. But most of them do. Usually, stocks get faved by other stockers, or by artist as a way to track the pictures they want to use in the future.
I agree. I fav stock that I wish to use in the future and keep it in a separate folder labeled "stock." When I want to use the stock, even if it's months after I've faved it, i comment on the stock to let the person know I'm using it and then comment again afterwards with the link to my work. Quite possibly a lot of people are faving it and are going to use it in the future.
me too I've been on and off dA for a few years but only here providing resources for a week. There have been a few hundred downloads but hardly any faves or comments. Really, doesn't take much to drag and drop does it?
yeah, i love taking pictures so i suppose it kind of evens out lol like my recent deviation i took the picture of my daughter in my garden with a bed sheet as a background lol i think i took about 150 photos that day lol

When I download a stock I like to favorite it if I like it or If I put it in my collections I make a folder with the artists name that way I know who it came from and I can give credit to that person.I also do the same thing with stuff I download to my computer that way I know who it came from.
You could say I am an organized person, everything has to go into specific folders and in specific order...lol.My husband hates it when I do that I just hate looking for everything when it is all jumbled together.I would never be able to find the stuff I want or need to use then forget who it came from, hence the organization.Sorry for the long winded post.
no it really doesn't bug me. I mean when have used poeple's stock, I don't want to put them in my favs. but I guess it's different now that we can organize our favourites. still, it doesn't bother me, I'm just glad when people actually use the stock!
