Everyday, Stubborn, Clumsy, Beautiful Ideas!
Dear Artist/Friend/Foe and Beasts,
You are all invited to create with us a collection of small things. From the Sketch you left behind but still adore, to the photograph of someone you don't know. We here at Akemi are creating a wall of curiosity to be displayed in the fair city center of Manchester. So what do we ask of you, Well, anything really, Old and new photos, sketches, intricate drawings, paint, conceptual pieces. The mere memory or a slight suggestion. It is yours, your very own small space. We ask each and everyone of you to give as many as or as few very special things, for the love and enjoyment of others. Something old or something created especially, its entirely up to you.
Send your pieces (Inside any old Frame or on canvas if it all ready comes that way) to:

We'll be holding an exhibition, in Afflecks, as part of the Free For Arts Festival (see link below). Last call for submissions will be the 25th of september 2009. We encourage Anyone and everyone to submit artist and non-artist alike. Please include Names and information you'd like to be known, It's story or lack of and contact info.
All pieces will also be displayed on: [link] And will be apart of an on going project: Future walls will exist, be pulled down and rebuilt. So please come and play.
