Well...its not only the pixel art forum. All the gallery forums are going down the tubes, save the photography gallery. These galleries should be where real artists are concentrated, where help is sought and provided. Basically a hub of insight...or whatever u wanna call it.
Basically, this thread is for people to make suggestions as to how we can bring back this forum to life.
So is there anyone out there who wants to make a difference?

First of all I think there should be alot more collaborations like the ones and the pixelart gallery director have held (bravo to them). So maybe we should make a thread where people suggest collaborations.
Also, I found the ThumbShare forum kinda messy; it sure is helpful to get pageviews, but not very helpful when it comes to "helpful comments". When I say helpful comments I mean comments that will really make a difference- suggestions for improvement.
Actually for collaborations, I think it would be good if experienced artists would put together a showcase of their shading styles.
I have a list of current collaborations on my Collaboration Page [link]
Collaborations can be immensely hard work, to get participants as well as keeping them going and making sure all work is actually PixelArt. If I see a collaboration, I try to help it along as much as I possibly can.
I will make a note of your suggestion for shading styles...good suggestion for a collab!
Awesome!! ur consideration in this matter is highly appreciated. Its good to see that u r making a difference. Having a collaboration page is definitely a great way to give them publicity.
I didn't realize how much work u have to put in for the collaborations...all that scrutinization to make sure it actually is pixel art
to ur pumpkin collaboration, it definitely is skyrocketing. One thing I noticed about the more successful collaborations is that they are non-isometric and each person's entry stands alone.
Yes....I need to do more work with Isometric PixelArt and now we are allowed to clean the Galleries again it will help people to recognize what Isometric is. Also the Isometric projects tend to have a much bigger area of canvas, so there is a lot more work needed to be done for individual pieces.
Thank you very much for actively participating in the Forum.
This is really going down (The Pixel Art movement overall) I guess because its not loaded with those pixel dolls and Mspaint doodles, which are not Pixel art per se.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
