I bought a Velbon DV-6000 the other day with a PH-358 head. The head has become slightly malformed. It might just be the heat (the UK is having an epic heatwave right now) but if it isn't I don't think the head will last that long. Can anyone name some nice tripod heads? Ideal for filming wildlife?

The sensor is only as good as the light that falls on it - the answer to the megapixel question.

you might want to try posting your question in a forum that deals with video, very few venture in both photography and video here.

The Gitzo G2380 Fluid filled head is a great one for video, especially for dampened pan/tilt when using long focal lengths for wildlife, since it helps control shake and jitter.

Thanks :) I've ordered a replacement for my Velbon but I am planning on getting a nice head some point in the next couple of years and I'll definitely consider that :p.
