If DA is really going to start enforcing these types of violations tutorials contain the least of these types of submissions. (Or it seems so to me.)
One of my favorites is when someone will make a Photoshop Brush and get in an uproar about how they require credit for “snapping the screen shot in Photoshop” that created the brush. I often find it laughable however that they rarely seem to think it’s necessary to give credit or get permission for these images.
Such is life.

Well with the tutorials, its most the ones on how to create "sigs" which have been using copyrighted game renders and the like.. I have been removing those left, right and center...
i have yet to look into the brushes, but thats my next step.
That's my general annoyance with a LOT of the "trendy" signatures out there. Too many of them are using game and anime renders, which makes me think, "So is this what 'art' is reduced to? 'Script kiddies' running around, taking premade works, sticking it in their shit and calling it their own?"
Seriously, this is what these guys reminds me of, script kiddies! They don't take the time to make their own stuff and figures they'll just take someone else's works and "make it their own". It reminds me of the hacker that this guy talked about, a 13 year old who claimed he made the script that messed up the guy's website. Turns out it was someone else's script, that guy just modified it a bit (I think...)
Anyway, I think it's nice that people are trying to show others how they make these "trendy sigs", but it's a real shame they don't take the time to create their OWN material instead.
But you know what? I'm just sick of seeing sigs like those. It's not because I don't know how to make them, it's because they're so overrated and I see them just about everywhere I go.
Anyway, it's nice to see people actually cracking down on tutorials that are violating copyrights. If you can't take the time to make your own materials for the tutorials, don't make them at all.
-- 99.99% of the people with statistics sigs are pretentious pricks. The other 0.01% are really annoyed by the 99.99%. If you're part of the 0.01%, put this in your sig.
if your going to get that picky with "stealing someone elses work" you may aswell just take everything out of here. people make brushes for others 2 use n credit them for using their brush. stock gallerys are there to be able to minipulate their photo.
if your going to say that you cant use Anything at all that some1 else has made then you cant use a pre-installed font on your computer because that was made by some1 else. you cant take a picture of your own car because that cars design is not your own its the manufacturers. you cant take a foto at all because thats using something that a muntinational corporation created.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
