There's software you can download to make the fonts at FontFreak.com if you scroll down a bit, it should..say something about it. =)

I'm a junior in technical high school. Almost everything we do is on computers! It is really fun at times. Our junior year we get to choose a career path, our choices are: Graphic Design, Programming, and Networking. I love art so... I'm in Graphix. A couple of weeks ago we made our own fonts and the program we used was Font Creator 3.0.

Fontlab or Macromedia fontographer are the best 2 i have used... i prefer fontlab 4.6 (the more recent) seems easier and more precise and adobe illustrator eps files paste into it nice and easy so you can do all your designing in Illustrator then paste into fontlab character by character as needed.

Are there any free font programs out there? I don't have a lot of money to spend >.<

If you type "u" you might as well go all out and add the other two letters. Y and O... it isn't that hard.
