I'm taking a film production class this fall and we're learning to shoot with 16mm film cameras (specifically the Scoopic). Since it is a community college there are only a number of cameras and a whole lotta students. Most of the EIGHT cameras are either broken or falling apart. So basically, my question is if you know of any place in Orange County or even Los Angeles that sell extremely cheap (below $100) or rent Scoopic cameras? I've found one but it's about $440 a week or $110 per day. Personally I think it's a bit ridiculous, but I guess they have to make a living. BACK TO MY QUESTION, does anyone have an answer? I'm desperate and am willing to bow down to you if you fulfill my need
