Pre with it's script writing, script breakdown, casting, location scouting, crewing, scheduling et al.
During production, it's mostly about time. Everything is achievable given enough time. Money helps too but mostly it's time.
Post is probably the easiest of the three. However, I have experienced computer crashes that lost 3 weeks worth of editing. That sucked.
After post is another difficult part - getting the film seen.
Why do we do this again?

IE i need to get AE for effects, i need toonboom solo to properly ink and paint it. I have Toonboom studio but its not the same as solo, and so its got restrictions i cant work around.
writing the screenplays been more of a challenge than I like as well :B
10 years in the making and its nearly complete though so my other areas are becoming more immediate problems

Sort of a simple thread, but what aspect of film making do you find the hardest? Is it the pre-production and planning? The actual production? The editing and post-production?
I personally find the pre-production the hardest. Trying to think of good stories and planning out how I want the film to look is the hardest. After that it all sort of falls together pretty well.
What sorts of advice do you have for people to get them through the hard parts?
