1. compress it- it will lower the quality and take out some color its hardly noticable.
2. if you don't mind unatimating it that will work.- yeah.
3. get a smaller version- shrink it, if that will ruin the animation then go to lunapic.com it has a good resizer
4. lower the quality- you have to lower it less if you compress it.
5. make part of the image grayscale- or the whole image if it will still look good.
6. crop it- there might be an unimportant part of the image.
