Can my Scraps be used for hosting images for CSS journal customization?

If I submit journal themes for others to use, is it alright for me to host the images (like backgrounds and such) in Scraps so that the users don't need to bother using their own hosting bandwidth? I mean, since the images are only going to be viewed on dA anyway, and that dA has hot-linking disabled... Would it be alright?

Help is appreciated. :)

The point was to use free hosting that had unlimited bandwidth. :\

why sure they can. The only reason it wouldn't work is that if you moved the deviation from another category to scraps. Then the source would change. Other than that it should be fine if you upload an image and select, "no category"

Officially, no. Hotlinking is prohibited, even for internal use. Probably tolerated for journals with low amount of visits.
All journals I saw use Photobucket, Flickr, ImageCave or similar.
You must be pretty popular to hit a bandwidth limit, I think! Actually, I didn't know there was one. The only thing annoying in Photobucket is the image size limit.

Geez, people keep uncovering this really old forum post. I'm aware of the rules, thanks. I've decided to just let people do their own hosting for images.

Lol, sorry, at least it is clear now.
This forum seems to be slow to push old threads out of view, but you can ask a moderator, in #MNAdmin, to lock the thread.
