I know this must be the stupidest post to be placed here in a while, but I'm having insecurities about my level... I'm starting my 7th semester, and I'm at that place when I want regular freelance jobs, now I think the problem is that I won't be able to find any work at my current level...
So I need your honest opinion... For you guys to look on my design gallery and tell me if I'm good, bad, intermediate or if I chose the wrong line of work...

I don't think you suck. I am a design student and fully sympathize with your feelings. From what I see, you have a good eye and good senses. I do notice though that most of your work uses the same layout focus is in the very center of the plane (I realize that some of it is just the display of DA). It may not be a bad thing, but it is a clear pattern in your thinking (I got hammered by my teacher for a similar thought pattern).
I try. It's really important I think because I figure that we both just want to be really skilled at what we love to do. Good critique can help us get there.
You have good stuff, but I get the feeling that you aren't pushing yourself. It seems like once it looks good, it's finished; however, you could go so much farther with your work. Take a look at pieces/artists that you admire and dissect why you like them. Use those same techniques in your art but add your own style of creativity in them.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
