welp, i like doing tattoos, but i'm wary of posting them online.
I would like for there to be something. some way of knowing if i win i get credit? Before i would enter. as im sure others are as well. Can you help us with that?

i totally get you! That's why this contest is still pretty tentative i'm still a contest newbie! And i m not sure how we can do this! Should I post some kind of form that I sign and you guys can print and sign as well, scan and e mail back to me? does that sound fair enough?
i don't really have any prizes yet but all credit for the artwork would definitely go to whoever wins!!!

Hmmm, I think a good enough prize, is if you have a website, or a deviantart profile that is fairly popular, that you provide a link back at all times on your page, in your journal or elsewhere, or on your website if you have one.
And the paper would be to much work for most to bother with. So as long as the credit is their, ill start working.

This is among the stupidest ideas I've ever heard. Im not sure if this is a joke or you being serious, so I'll assume your being serious.

*No normal person would want a vampire bite mark as a tatoo
*If they did, they would want a CUSTOM tattoo not a copy and paste one like loads of other people
*vampire bite marks would make a terrible tattoo and nobody would be able to tell what it was supposed to be

Hey it was just an idea! I want to see what people come up with!
1. It wouldn't be a vampire bite "per say" but a symbol representing one, because i agree that vampire bite tattoos are usually corny but even then no one can be judged for what they get tattooed and why.
2. Just because you don't believe in having a similar tattoo as someone else doesn't mean others feel the same way. Many like the feeling of having a common ground with others. That's why the tattoo will be small, a sleeve lets say would be silly to have in repetition all over the world and most people wouldn't get it. But a small tat that is generic and that a large crowd can enjoy well why not? Nobody forced you to get it!

Thanks for the comment, negative opinions are still opinions and I am not bashing you at all! Simply saying why i believe it could be fun! I never said I or anybody else would necesarilly do it, but if someone drew a nice enough one and that it represented well the vampire fan base I'd get it!
Thanks for the reply but avoid using general terms like "no normal person would want a vampire bite mark as a tattoo" if you look it up in the body modification section you will notice that quite a few do and generalizing such an opinion is directly insulting them. Again just because YOU wouldn't do something doesn't mean "no normal person would"

If you are a tattoo designer and/or vampire fan, you will love this evil idea as much as I did! Do you want to illustrate your obsession with vampires without having a cartoony two-holes-with-blood tattooed on your neck or wrist? Well what if we could find a WORLD WIDE RECOGNIZABLE symbol instead? What if we found a minuscule tattoo multiple people could get that others could recognize?
My idea would be two dots with a sort of spiral/tribal-like symbol that would twirl around it. It would have to be minuscule enough though so as to seem like two puncture wounds, yet original enough as to not look simply like two little dots. Anybody have an idea?
Warning: Keep in mind that it would be a TATTOO and so being overly detailed would cause the tattoo to turn into a meaningless blur over time!
I don't have any official prize for this contest, but at the same time think of it this way: Whoever's design wins will be tattooed on MILLIONS if my plan succeeds!
Who wants to start an army?
My small demands:
-All those who get this symbol tattooed will be called a "Bitten"
-For as long as it is humanly possible refer to this is "crueltyinpoetry's idea"! I know we live in a childish world and some may try to pretend it was originally there's but at least you guys and deviantart.com might eventually vouch that I started it
