Howdy folks! I am currently the writer and artist on Doomed Comic. Doomed is a young web-based comic with about 81 strips, all of which are online. It started a twice-a-week and has grown to a thrice with several character blogs.
I picked up a pencil when I started the comic despite having literally no experience with drawing. It's been growing and evolving a bit art-wise, but it's not up-to-snuff. In the interest of delivering these great comics to the web in a better way I am seeking an artist who is willing to make somewhere between 4 to 6 strips per week (the number would be decided between the two of us before hand and a schedule crafted.)
I know I'm asking for someone willing to do quite a bit of work. Unfortunately I simply have no means of offering anything beyond a token "beer" (a "slush"-ie fund for the youngsters! ) money of $10 per week. What that means is that this would largely be a labor of love. I'd like you to check out the comic, hit the archives, hit the blogs; see if this is something you would want to be a part of and if so... join up!
As far as art jobs go this has one definite appeal: the tedious work is done for you. The writing, advertising, website maintenance, scripting, etc. is all done by me behind the scenes. All I'm asking you to do is draw.
This collaboration isn't for everyone and I know and respect that. But I know someone out there is going to take a look and see a project that they want to be a part of. When you do, let me know. I'll be right here drawing.

hey, I took a look at your link and read some strips... quite interesting. I like anyways, if you still want a artist to create strips for you I am interested in doing so. I just need to know how much you would be expecting for a strip because I am sort of a slow worker. So if you still want help holler at me

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
