Hiya! I'm just asking, but I'm doing a comic for an Original Character tournament. I've noticed alot with comics, there are speed lines. How can I do these lines? Everytime I try to do them by hand (tablet), they never look any good.

Somebody please help this little photoshop comic newb =]?

If you go on Photoshop on the toolbar it should have something called filters. scroll down it should have Blur, and it should lead to another list-one of them is Motion Blur-gives the impression of speed lines-you can also alter the angle by messing with the little circle thing-it should tell you angles. Alternatively, you could scroll down the Blur filter list to where it says Radial Blur-choosing one of the options gives blurring/speedlines in all directions. Hope I helped. Sorry if I didn't.

I found these screen tone bursts useful... but they are huge! (The other items are ok, but the bursts I find best)
