Are you hoping to submit it somewhere? Are you doing it for a lark? Feel free to write paragraphs of information on this subject - if nothing else, I'll read it (;
i started up my own comic over at 99damage.com its basically a great big piss take of everything, but its still tasteful humor, nothing stupid check it out nd lemme know what you think but bear in mind, it hasnt been updated in a very long time
Ideally I update once a week, but school has decided to completely ruin that for me. XD Otherwise, I kinda just do it as a fun little experiment as I never really had a long, ongoing project before. It's a fairly low-tech comic since I do everything by hand, so I don't have to mess around with a computer and further delay a new comic...
Subject-wise I try to keep it fairly true to life, or at least inspired by actual events. I really believe that to find the strange-ness in the world, you don't have to look any farther than family, and boy do they provide a ton of material. (Although, I do have a problem with wanting to use inside jokes, so I have to restrain myself to make the comic understood by everyone! XD )

"I see we're spelling hallowed with a pound sign in the middle of it."
It's brand new Just saw the news on :devmisskittyooooo:'s journal! I'm a comic author (I do the entire thing, publishing included) currently working on volume 2 of my story, Malaak: Angel of Peace. Volume 1 was published in December and I'm pretty happy with how it's spreading. I'm too sleepy right now to coherently tell you more about it but I like to let it speak for itself It's the first adventure comic in Lebanon and that makes it a kind of mission for me, lol.
Well my husband found this web comic contest .. he is entering and I may to... darn and I will have to get the link from him later today. --- Aside from that I am plugging away at a storyline for my comic that is about how Canada will look like and function in the year 3000. I have some really rough character sketches done and some scenes I did a few years ago, but nothing recent good enough to get on DA yet.
I've got two ongoing comic projects: Zakku-kun no Hentai Ousama and Le Lapin Noir. They're mostly so I can practice making comics and writing in foreign languages.
I've got a comic I just started called Zoo Life (in my gallery). Right now it's just random little pieces, but I do have plans for some more than one page storylines. It's an anthro comic, so I wasn't sure whether to put it in anthro or comics...

I'm a writer and artist for a couple books that are currently in various stages of production. Most all of them are self published (under the name Kitty's Tavern Studios/Kitty Press) although I do have some other projects in the works that will not be self published that I can't really discuss too much at this time (but I'll post info on them as I'm able).
The first is my main project (written, penciled and inked by hand by me) called Bounty Hunter Kirin
The second is a 3D illustrated comic that acutally has Kirin from the above book in it and some of my other characters as well that's right now going by the project title Crossover
Then lastly, I'm working on another hand drawn comic called P.H.U.: Pandora Homocide Unit
There are some other projects including a webcomic that I'm planning, but they aren't really at a stage to post anywhere yet...
Oh, you can take a look at all of the above mentioned projects by going to my Comis Space site [link] and looking under kittystavern's Comic Galleries.
Thanks for looking. I look forward to seeing/reading other people's creations.
so, my name is dave, and i'm writing/drawing/publishing a 10-part series called 'Let's go to UTAH!' the start of it is linked in my sig...
i'll quote a friend of mine who recently gave it a sweet review:
" It's been my good fortune to preview the first four issues of Dave Chisholm's unique series "Let's Go to Utah!" as he posted up pages over at deviantart.com. I didn't have to read too many panels before finding myself well engrossed in the story of a boy with bad dreams who takes a car ride with a mysterious stranger across the wastelands of middle America. Chisholm's seems to be crafting a story that is part film noir, part road picture and crawling with weird. Chisholm excels at leaving his readers teetering on the brinks of their seats and wondering mightily what might come skidding around the next curb like Steve McQueen on a bender. His art is vibrant and loose, adding much to his excellent action scenes and occasional bouts of flying fists, baseball bats and etc. His brush work is perhaps most comparable to that of Paul Pope but with Dave's own lanky and dingy jeans style that suits the narrative to a tee. I'm very excited to finally see this series in print and I heartily recommend it to any readers interested in crime mysteries, fast cars, beatings with baseball bats, truckers, truck stops, junk yards, cigarettes, psychopaths and Utah. Enjoy."
so, basically, that's what it's about. you can buy the first issue here: [link]
Excellent idea of thread! I have started several comics, most of them very short or unfinished... I also made the start of a series, which has several pages (more than 20) but I have yet to scan it (and translate if from French to English!). I plan to show it on dA someday.

82% of statistics in signatures are made up. (This is a recursive signature...) Spreading them is un-original and sheepish. If you agree, copy this in your... wait, no! No to signature clichés! You are on an art site, be creative!
