Use this thread to post thumbs and get critique for it. Please only submit thumbs that are Artisan Crafts, as we will SHUN any others. Post one thumb at a time. Please post critiques in the actual deviation, not in this thread. You can however post replies letting people know you did do a critique.

Please also do not use this thread just to gain pageviews. If you wish for that, please go to #thumbshare. This is for artistic critique and growth.

So the thumb code works in this thread, then? Hmm...I think I shall test this out.

That's completely ridiculous.

They're ironing this out. I had no idea you needed specialness to get thumbs.

Awesome. I knew that the only general forum that the thumb code worked in was Thumbshare, but when you said to post thumbnails instead of links in the main post, I wasn't sure whether you had some mysterious GD tool that let you enable thumbnails in the gallery forums.

...after typing that out, it sounds really silly. Hmm.

People seem to like this piece. Is the problem of it not being more popular exposure to viewers or are the people who comment, like and/or fav, just being kind? (Most are strangers to me).

I think it has more to do with it A) bing an artisan craft, and therefore less able to reach an audience, and B) the picture looks bad in thumbnail. I really like the piece, actually

what, you were expecting something witty here?

Do you have any suggestion about how to make it look better in a thumbnail?
It's too bad AC does not get more attention (not neccessarlily for my own pieces - becasue I am not at the level I would like - but for others). There is such talent in this area and oh so so so many photograpers.

blank (but not neccessarily white) background makes it look less lke a piece of 2D abstract art
