Okay.
Let's start with something positive.
It'll be better than the first live action movie.

Anyway, positively, I'm excited. It's DRAGONBALL. I saw the trailer and there were many things I was happy about. I thought Bulma looked sexy, and was glad Emmy Rossum pulled her off. I didn't think she would bc I was thinking about Christene from POTO. Chichi is also sexy, and I'm kinda interested in seeing that Chichi vs Chichi thing. I heard there would be a sex scene and am against it considering I want Goku to still think marriage is food.. but it might turn out alright. The Kamehameha was at least spoken right, and is blue, which is great. Thinking about it, the original poses are a little weird for battle, so I'm not mad about that change.

Negativly? I don't think they captured Goku's personality right. "I'm not ready for this" is clearly heard and Goku has never said anything along those lines. Hell, when he knew he couldn't beat Cell he said "Oh well, let Gohan do it!" When he didn't think he could beat Radditz he was still in the "I have to TRY" attitude. Plus the sex scene is completely against his personality, but I've already mentioned that.
I'm not mad about hair or how Piccolo looks or anything because DBZ was anime and all that stuff didnt make sense then. And now it does. Yey.
I'm worried about the storyline because it doesn't mention Kami or him making the Dragonballs and that is sort of important when the third movie takes place or should at least take place on Namek.

I had no clue there was a first.. but if it was even possible for it to be worse than evolution looks to be? Glad I havn't seen it. I don't know why they'd even bother doing live action anime... it looks like Mortal Kombat but suckier.

but I too did not like the trailor. It does the anime no justice whatsoever. the least they couldd've done was GOKU asian too... and picolo is missing his antenas...and since when did chi chi and bulma kick ass as assasins anyway? It is waaaay off! (grr)

A but people theres always room for improvement. If this first movie bombs( which it mostly likely will) they can do a remake or actually spend lot more on the sayian saga movie.

I honestly don't know why they didin't spend more money and more time on it. Seems production was rushed.

DBZ is the most popular anime in the world, even Naruto, Bleach, Inuyasha and Sailor Moon fans will admit that. Surely if they could spend a big budget on spiderman, batman, fantasic 4 and x-men movies they could have easily done that for dbz.

To make a really good or yet excellent dbz movie it would cost alot, it would be the most expensive movie to make in history, and its a risk they can easily make cause they'll make so much back and more.

Well... Goku isn't Asian. I'm just happy Piccolo isn't yellow. (His costume is mostly but they changed his color with Special Effects) Chichi has always kicked ass, but that chick in red isn't Chichi, that's Mai. At least they didn't make Bulma a martial arts fighter.

Plus the first of the recent superhero movies had a bad budget anyway. The first Hulk movie had low budget, so did Spiderman.

its funny because when I first saw how piccolo looked I was mad because he was yellow..but when I looked at the old toys he wasnt exactly green..more like a yellowish green which is why im not that mad anymore...And Anyway Dragon Ball evolution isnt based off DBZ its based off Dragon Ball.

And Im really not too quick to judge anymore because I thought the first spiderman movie was gonna tank but it actually did very well and I actually liked it. So im going to go see it anyway
