I'm fairly new to the 3D Poser community ( since 2005 )I have been wanting to meet other like minded folks in my general geographical area that have experience using the same software graphics programs for the exchange ideas, techniques and suggestions about other programs that could enhance our artwork. I was also hoping to find folks willing to meet and discuss or provide hands on training...

I do okay in DAZ and I am a neophyte in Poser, but I am also interested in learning how to do 3D modeling. I have hexagon, Bryce, and Carrara pro. I only feel comfortable in DAZ but I know that I am only scratching the surface on that.

I am wondering if there are any other folks out there that would like to get together and share knowledge, and put together live training sessions for other like minded artists in the area, share tips, tricks and computer graphic magic... perhaps start a 3D artist community... I don't know... Just something I have been kicking around in my head for a couple of years.

If you guys know of such an organization already in full swing, please let me know. I would love to join.

If not, I would be happy to organize if there are any takers.

Thanks for the information. I will try out those sites. Not so sure that I can afford Maya though.
