What an exciting time we're having in the world of football at the moment.
On saturday we saw Chelsea's chances for the double go up in smoke after Liverpool turned them over at Old Trafford, much to the delight of, well, everyone. The most important North London derby ever ended in a draw under controversial circumstances, with the brilliance of Thierry Henry shining through again. But there was probably something else dwelling on the minds of Arsene Wenger's men, that being the small matter of the Champions League Semi-Final against Villareal. The tie will no doubt go down to the wire, as will the worthy final of Barcelona V AC Milan, with Barca taking the advantage of an away goal back to the Nou Camp. After crashing out of the Campions League to Arsenal, it's all gone wrong for Juventus, who have thrown away a 10 point lead at the top of Serie A to lead by only 3 points with 3 games left. Barcelona, however, have considerably less on their plates, needing just win their game in hand to all but, barring a miracle, win the Spainish Primera division.
But of course, there is so much more.
Where are you club currently in the table? What has been your high and what has been your low of the season? Has it been a sucess or a failure? Have you achieved or has your manager well and truely lost it? Are you accepting you will be relegated or are you fighting untill it's over (Pompey fans )? Are you crumpling under the pressure of possibly qualifying for Europe or are you causually strolling it? Tell us all about it!

Even though Man Utd have only won the Carling Cup, I'm satisfied with this season just on form alone. We've been playing amazing since the New Year, good enough to win any league, it's such a shame that Chelski have huge squad of world class players but I s'pose it goes to show that money can't buy you domination - well in Europe at the least.
I'm a gooner all the way. After the game on Saturday, I've come to a conclusion. Bad sportsmanship should be made a rule rather than be an expected part of player etiquette. I think it's ridiculous that the Spurs goal was allowed, although I don't really know what I expected from them, the dirty buggers No matter what's at stake, when there are a number of players injured, play should stop. I hope the FA are going to think about things considering this.
Thing is LL, how do you know players are really injured. We see it all the time now as it is, a player is 'injured' the ball gets put out and they've miracalously (sp) recovered. If a rule is brought in to stop the game every time someone is injured, players would just go down when the opposing team is in a goalscoring opportunity and it'd become a farce.
Obviously if someone is really injured that is different, but i dont think it'd be such a good idea.
I'm over the bloody moon with our season (although its not finished yet!). Last year we were fighting relegation and now we're challenging for the Champions League. Since the spurs game we lost we've lost our way a little bit although we have won in the meantime. But 2 points out of 12th and we're still 6th isn't too bad!! I just hope we can finish off the season and seal a place in Europe.
Yeah but it was the worst show of sportsmanship.. I mean surely there should be some rules about player ettiquette. Assuming everyone is going to play nice and be polite is a stupid one.
But I do agree, there is rarely a real injury anymore.
