So... how many people here are involved in (or have been in the past) a FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics competition? I'm just curious to see if there are any other people here on DA I'm on team #2472
Why did I post this in the Sports forum, you ask? Well, I think it qualifies as a sport. It uses your brain... muscle. And I didn't really know where else to put it...

Wow, it's really exciting to find someone else on dA who does FIRST. I'm a part of the Eaglebots. We don't have our own FRC team (We tend to do FRC with Team 1746), but we do the FTC competition.

cool! last year was 2472's Rookie year... we won the Rookie All-Star award... i wasn't on the team at that time, but apparently it was amazing! and of course, the guys wanted more girls on the team this year, so here i am (no, my best friend actually convinced me) its great to find other people who like Robotics good luck with the rest of the build season!
