Once again Manchester United have done themselves no favours with anyone.
After being throughly outplayed for most of their big match with Chelsea, anyone and everyone else is blamed for the defeat. Ferguson and whatshisface blaming the referee for awarding a penalty for a clear handball, whatshisface even suggesting that a ManUtd player must be shot for them to get a penalty, laughable.
The antics of the players before and after the game aside, Ferguson and his team simply must learn to show some class in defeat. I'm no Chelsea fan, but I am becoming frustrated with Ferguson's infuriating conduct.
United are probably the best team in the country, and therefore, starting with the manager, must realise sooner rather than later that they have an example to set. It doesn't hurt to say that you were beaten by a better team on the day. They will probably still win the title anyway because of their goal difference and they have as good a chance as any in the European cup.
Because every other manager in the prem are angels aren't they?
I'm sorry bu its not just one manager, they all do it. Grant is the only one who doesn't because he is so indifferent to the whole concept of football passion.
I'm not suggesting for one moment that Ferguson and cronie are the only ones that do it, but they are certainly the worst for it. Name me a bigger moaner in world football.
This is not an 'anyone but United' post, I just think that a bloke of Ferguson's status, influence and ability should by now know better. His cronie suggested that a Man Utd player has to be shot in the box to get a penalty, this is utterly ridiculous.
I realise that most managers do it, but the lack of respect shown for the opposition and for the match officials over a long period of time from a guy who has been around long enough to know better quite frankly stinks.
His team lost because they didn't play very well and because Carrick clearly handled the ball inside the box. I don't see the need for a pop at a referee who, by all accounts, handled a difficult game very very well.
The Man Utd player who came out of the game with the most credit I think was Rooney, despite a nasty looking injury he kept his composure to score with a lovely finish.
The worst offenders are Ferguson, Wenger, and Allardyce and Mourinho, when they had a club to manage. It has got to the point where I'm hoping for points deductions, so disgusting have the post match accusations been about opposition players, referees, or anyone who happens to be involved. I'd love to see a referee sue a manager for libel the next time such a ridiculous accusation of bias is made. That would shut them up.
What about Arsene "I did not see ze incident" Wenger? Although to his credit he did retract his (quite disgusting) comments about Martin Taylor.
The whole big four culture disgusts me in general to be honest. I can't wait for them all to bugger off and join some g14 super league with the other big boys. Then the rest of us can get back to playing football.
I agree we shuld all admit that eventually all managers will say that AS FOR YOU THE POETIC EDGE I FIND IT EXTREMELY OFFENDING THAT YOU WROTE ''ZE'' WHAT ABOUT FERGUSON.......... OH WAIT I DONT EVEN SUPPORT UNITED AND STILL RESPECT HIM

i dont know you dont know arsene wenger knows!!
Ferguson and Wenger are the two worst, now that Mourinho has gone anyway.
It was a quote buddy, that's the way he says it (with alarming regularity), now come down off that high horse and sort yourself out with some thicker skin. If that's all it takes to offend you then you're in for a bloody hard time.
Whilst we're discussing the causes of offence, I find your sentence structure offensive, as well as the baffling use of capital letters.
I respect Ferguson and Wenger for what they've achieved at their respective clubs, it's impossible not to. What I don't respect is their conduct from time to time. The football fans who only respect people associated with their club are the biggest muppets on the planet, not even supporting Man Utd and yet still respecting Ferguson doesn't get you brownie points fella.
And while I'm here let me also apologise. I have this terrible habit of naturally assuming that everyone on the sports forum is a bloke, I can be very medieval at times and I apologise. But my original post still stands in every other aspect.
