I know I cannot be the only avid NHL fan on here. I was just curious, to others out there who are as into hockey as I am... who do you see taking the Cup this year? On top of that.. who would you hate to see win the cup this year? For me, I'd love to see the Rangers take it although I don't know if they have the push for it. All together, I could see the Sharks making it. I'd really hate to see Ottawa or the Ducks take it this year.

I'd like and hope to see Vancouver getting it.
And I would hate to see Detroit or Carolina taking it.
But the cup will go to Montreal or San Jose...

I agree that Montreal is one of the teams most likely to win.
Unlike you, however, I would love to see Detroit take it... :)

Yeah I enjoy watching Vancouver, I hate seeing their lack of offense. With Luongo back there, they need to push it harder for him. You're right, it probably will be San Jose or Montreal. I'd prefer San Jose, honestly.

Seems like if Detroit has an awesome record in the regular season, they'll lose in the first round of the playoffs(even though i wouldn't mind rooting for them...my parents are from there). Honestly, though, I would like to see Montreal win.

Montreal have been playing so good lately. I wouldn't be surprised one bit to see them take it. As for Detroit.. I just get so tired of hearing how great they are so I wouldn't mind seeing them fall in the first round.

yeah same here tired of it too, but I think Detroit will pass to the next round... sadly Predators looks like kids next to the Wings.
So far Montreal's doing well though with a controversed win tonight, but we can't deny that Boston is not a great team anyway.
I think Dallas will be a big surprise in these playoffs and a team to keep an eye on.

And now that Canucks didn't make it well I'd like to see Colorado taking it... or Calgary.

Yes Boston would be a real competitor if they hadn't got hit with so many injuries, I don't see them passing the Canadiens, although tonight showed they can do it if they push hard enough. However, I think next season will be big for the B's. Dallas has suprised me already in these playoffs. I'm a big time Rangers fan and frankly I'm a little suprised they have taken the first two games against NJ so far. I figured it'd be more of a mix and match kind of series that goes to 7, and maybe it still will.

I would adore for Montreal to take it, and would not like to see Minnesota win.
