Songs that make you tear up?

Can be for any reason, whether from the musical qualities themselves or from personal depressing memories they trigger in you.

Alessia Cara - Scars to your beautiful (I was singing along to it once and it hit me in the feels)

Oasis: Slide Away (I tend to listen to this song when I'm in love, so when I'm not and it comes up, I get all emo)

Celine Dion: My Heart Will Go On (Which is why I NEVER listen to it!)

I use music like this to write my apologies so that I can psychologically seem more emotional and convey the deep message of guilt in a more believable way. Music like this makes me more depressed, which allows for deeper apologies.

You got it right.  I actually heard NewSong (the band that actually wrote it) play it live about a month ago and I was bawling.

One Last Christmas by Matthew West is even more depressing.

The Puppet song by TryHardNinja and The Fire by Puppet and The Eden Project. The first one is sad, the second one I don't know why I tear up.

All Alone - Saturnus
lyrics:
I'm standing here.
Watching the clouds float by.
Wondering why the pain never deserted me.
The sadness, sorrow, bewilderedness that never left

Mozart - Lacrimosa.
Sad and beautiful in its own right.
Knowing that Mozart died while writing it at the 8th bar, unable to resolve that strong dominant, makes it sadder. Especially since the music never gets as powerful after that.
Playing it over and over after a loved one died charges its power fully.

I personally find The Price of a Mile, by Sabaton to be depressing, it's lyrics are deep :/
