Audio Engineering a Live Performance in a Cafeteria
I'm going to be performing a solo concert later this month in a high school cafeteria. This place has no acoustic treatment and it is a rather large room. Any audio engineering tricks to make the concert sound good?

What kind of equipment do you have at your disposal? What instrument are you playing? Does the school have mics and/or amps and speakers? Ask the school if anyone can help you soundcheck before your performance - or give yourself extra time before to do it yourself.
The concert will be a progressive rock/electronica show. No acoustic instruments are involved at all. I will be singing.
Laptop with Reason
Small tabletop mixer
Pop filter attachment for mics
RACK
Rack mixer
Echo effect
2 EQ modules
Amplifier
Other modules that I can't remember right now
Many microphones (cardioid, unidirectional)
Two piano keyboards with MIDI cables
Because the concert is during lunch, other classes will be happening. So I have to be relatively quiet.
I'm trying to see if I can set up MIDI keyboards to switch between instruments in Reason so I can easily do so for the performance.
