Beatles Or Stones?

Two classic bands, which is better? Or are they both equal? And why? Give me reasons!!!!! (ie, Keith Richards got better with time, but George Harrison had natural talents, or Brian Jones and Paul McCartney are both talented multi-intrumentalists)

Yus. I'm not a big fan of later Stones, but those two tracks are fantastic. I'm not a Beatles fan at all.

The Beatles. They had a lot of styles and have much more interesting harmonies in many of them. I simply love a lot of their songs.

Blue Jay way is not sad, I think. I think it was another LSD trip, actually.

But yes, everything else is awesomeness in its own. I can listen to them forever.

I don't listen to either bands particularly, but I do prefer the Stones. They were (are) generally more badass and after all, they did write and record "In Another Land", "2000 Light Years From Home" and "Sympathy for the Devil", which are all brilliant pieces of music.

The Stones. The Beatles were a bunch of overrated boys. The Stones are overrated as well, but they've got some nice bluesy stuff. Here's a list of my favourite sixties bands, in this order, anyway: 1. The Velvet Underground 2. The Flying Burrito Brothers 3. The Byrds. The Notorious Byrd Brothers and Sweetheart of the Rodeo are records that beat any Beatles stuff.

You may. I won't say you can't like them. The Beatles have some songs I like, a lot I dislike or think they're boring, but the same goes for the Rolling Stones. They've got a bigger list of songs I really do enjoy though. Anyway, have you heard the Flying Burrito Brothers-version of Wild Horses? They recorded it before the Rolling Stones-version was released, by the way.

My parents raised me on the Beatles, so I'll have to go with them. According to my mum, I've had a radio in my room that played the Beatles and other artist from that time, since I was born. I think it's pretty cool, and I grew up loving the Beatles. Still do.

I quite like David Bowie, too. Another part of my childhood, introduced to me courtesy of my lovely parents. c:

Of the two, I've heard more Beatles songs than Stones songs. But I have a personal dislike for the Beatles because practically their entire discography was played at my aunt's funeral in 2001 and in that same year, my parents divorced after 16 years of marriage. So Beatles music reminds me of those bad times and that's why I choose not to listen to them that often.
