Hmm, Boards of Canada, Ulrich Schnauss, Bonobo, Tycho, Biosphere, and Pendulum, even though they're not Ambient, but I find that kind of music (Drum N Bass) calming :) Oh, one of Ulrich Schanuss's best albums is A Strangely Isolated Place :)
