Adele definitely. And Nicki Minaj. Katy Perry. Probably almost every artist of today IMHO. There's a few good ones, but sadly not enough. ;n;
I think The Rolling Stones would also class as overrated because even though they are good, I'm sick of seeing stupid people wearing the lips because "zomg they so awsum" same as The Beatles. :s

Critically, I'd say Animal Collective. They get glowing reviews from Pitchfork and other bullshit indie sites for being "experimental." There's a difference between experimental music and crappy disjointed inaccessible electronic music.
