Star Trek of course, for obvious reasons. Doctor Who, I'd love to be exterminated by a Dalek. Lost Girl. Death by succubus would be a pleasant way to go. Supernatural. So many things go bump in the night and they can all kill you.
Its the downside of having a vivid imagination. I always feel like I have every disease I read about or see on T.V.
I can barely get through the intros of House without getting squeemish. Its to real. The real stuff bugs me out. I love things like 28 days later and The Stand, but that movie Contagen kept me up all night!
The show that really makes my skin crawl is that "Monsters Inside Me".... I cannot stand when friends want to watch that.
The term "Redshirt" comes from the original Star Trek series.
In Star Trek: The Original Series Security and Engineering officers wore Red Shirts, Medical/Science wore Blue shirts and Command wore Gold shirts and it was almost always the Security officers that were the stock characters and the ones that tended to die before the first commercial break.
Security guards beamed down with the main characters and usually died quickly to show the peril the Captain and other main cast characters were in.
