The series is good, but it's packed with the typical HBO-isms. If you're really interested in the plot and hooked at the series, go check the books out. I know this is a typical thing to say, but they are a lot better!
Currently drawing game of throne characters and have drawn only the mother of dragons.... need some suggestions on who to draw next so many to choose from please give me some names and I will draw them
Hahaha that emoticon is perfect! I have yet to read ahead of where the show is at, so I can only judge him from books/seasons 1 and 2. I think he's really sketchy, but interesting. Also, I can see him doing something really messed up later on...
I'm halfway through series 2 of the show, only started watching about a week ago. Can't get hold of the books round here, but I heard the author loves him. I just don't like him for (spoilers)betraying Sean Bean/Eddard
Yeah, that's such a shame. It's so interesting considering their situations! It looks like Margaery really cared about Renly as a friend, and her marriage to him not only put her and her family in a good place, but allowed Renly and Loras to be together without catching much attention (ignoring the fact that Margaery never conceived... haha)
I actually really like Margaery, and I never actually thought that I would. I have such a strong love for the secondary characters, sure the story follows main characters such as Jon and Dany, but I believe the secondary characters really make the story.
The first season was pretty on in terms of adaptation. The second, not so much. And not always for the better. I still adore both the books and the show though. Even if it has ripped out my heart and stomped on it so much.
And caused copious arguments with Sansa haters. They're all wrong.
Oh yeah I completely agree, she was incredibly frustrating. But so many people have latched onto that fact and ignored her entire arc so far! I don't know how much you've read but there's a scene in A Storm of Swords where she's in snow and it's beautiful and I fell in love.
And don't even get me STARTED on people who blame her for Ned's fate.
I think the books are better. The series is great but still. There are things i don't understand. I don't want to spoil anything, but you start to notice things that are very, very different from the books.
Still can't wait to see season 3! Looking forward to see some scenes i did hate/love from the book.
