I really love that show.
I know it now for two years and it never gets boring. Even if I don't find a new fanfiction, doujinshi, art or even episodes and comics for a time I just read the next history book

it's like a fanfiction. Of course its important to make a difference between actual history and hetalia. No question asked there. But I think hetalia helps to built interest and to understand it better.
And yes I nearly started crying over a history magazine about imperial russia....
