Don't put it on girls just because you (and I!) think it's bad. X'D
It's more of a wish fulfillment series for lonely otaku guys, your typical harem routine but with an overpowered protagonist as well. =/
The romance parts of the main pairing aren't even half as understandable as the standard shoujo manga. They are just -BAM- together at some point. ='D

The first episode is actually neat.

I say that the first two episodes had potential. It takes a drastic nosedive from that point on.

The second one was okayish but the strange reaction of that leader guy when Kirito wanted to give him the life saving potion... seriously? XD
That dropped it quite a bit for me. =/

The leader dude was a wreck, but I enjoyed the darkness in Kirito, accepting the "villain-lonewolf" role that was placed on him. . . and then it went horrible.
