I never answered this thread? Weird.
I don't know what I'd bring back...most of the great shows I know that ended really ended when they should. I mean, I'd love to see more episodes of "Star Trek: Voyager," but that would mean stranding the crew for another few years, and the last season and finale were a good closure to it (last season's episodes could've been *arranged* better, with more of the dramatic ones near the end and the funnier lighter ones near the middle, but whev.) "Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law" was great, but the finale rocked, and *because* it went ahead and ended, it was the only Adult Swim cartoon that didn't wind up burning in hell.
I guess I'll just say "Eureka's Castle." I don't even remember much of it, but I loved it as a 5-year-old, and was heartbroken when it was cancelled.
There are several cartoons that I miss that were on channels such as Disney, Nickelodeon and Cartoon network. One of my favorite shows was from Nickelodeon, it was 'Hey Arnold'. That show had great characters, good morals and remember-able episodes. I love drawing fanart for it. If you're intersted, feel free to check them out. [link]
Skip Beat should've never been cancelled.. Finally a story that isn't about a girl being dumped and then trying to 'better' herself, but about kicking his ASS and then they cancel it on me. Luckily the manga is still ongoing.
This is too early to mention but Young Justice. That show proven to be a great series, superior at best to it's predecessor Teen Titans (just simply compare Deathstroke in TT to Deathstroke in YJ, guess which one is still the badass mercenary who uses guns, swords and isn't censored due to target audience). I can't believe they are going to cancel the show, this is like the second time a Greg Weissman comic book show is cancelled at season two (Spectacular Spiderman, anyone?). Well at least the show provided enough episode for a two to three day viewing on Netflix.
They just cancelled "Don't Trust the B in Apt. 23." I was super pissed because i just started watching that show and i really liked it. It was one of the best shows i had come across in a long time, and as soon as i started getting into it, they cancel it in the middle of it's second season.
Moonlight Road Rovers Firefly (my bro got me addicted to it) Recess (seriously, one of the few shows that was very well written) My Name is Earl (it was ok-ish some episodes were hilarious, others were just stupid) Sonic the Hedgehog 93-94 Godzilla series The Pretender (this might have ended but I'm not sure) John Doe
So many, & yet only a handful have been mentioned"
Cyborg 009 Courage My Life as a Teenage Robot Teen Titans Invader Zim Flapjack Camp Lazlo Chowder Gym Partner's a Monkey Dave the Barbarian Proud Family Hard times of RJ Berger (what a fucking shitty way to cancel this)
While I know it wasn't canceled, Avatar: The Last Airbender should NOT have ended the way it did. You don't just have Zukko ask where his mother was & then drop it like that! That is NOT an ending!
Prime Suspect (US version) was amazing. I really hope it continues elsewhere.
Awake ended just right, so I'm not too bothered by it being cancelled. Kinda wish there were another show around like it though.
Now that I look at it, I guess there haven't been too many shows that I wish hadn't been cancelled. I'd much rather something be cancelled after a good season finale and end on a high note than be drawn out past its expiration date like Desperate Housewives.
Ooo they are so many: V (The Visitors) Flash Forward Alphas Secret Circle 666 park avenue Camelot Dollhouse Happy Town Heroes Persons Unknown Point Pleasant Ringer The gates The River The nine lives of chloe king ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I may look crazy knowing all these tv shows lol I just have app on my phone with everything I've ever watched and what will come next... these are the shows which deserve to continue, most of them are old on 1 2 or 3years and more... only Alphas and 666 park avenue are canceled last 2 months
I'm really shocked some of my favorites were never mentioned.
Clone High I thought was a standard dream. My Name is Earl is my absolute desire though ;-; King of the Hill was a shame, but it had a great run at least. Clerks the Animated Series barely got a chance, although Kevin Smith is releasing a new cartoon soon. And one I'm not surprised no one mentioned but I truly miss... Rick and Steve: Happiest Gay Couple in the World.
