I adore this show and thankful comedy central picked it up after cartoon network let it go. I have seen all the seasons and it's also streamable for those who can, so you can catch up on what you've missed ! I don't know what to predict but I just know they'll stand and deliver because they haven't disappointed me yet
for quite awhile I took a break from the simpsons, but when I returned I could watch the re-runs at leisure and still know what's going on. futurama might be about the same, but there's nothing wrong with watching the other stuff, it'll be new to you and give you something to do while you wait for the newer stuff
I don't really watch stuff online, either. I meant that I don't usually have much interest in watching things that are ongoing series, because I feel like there's too much to watch if I don't keep up with it. I'd rather watch a movie or do something else.
I absolutely love it. I do think something weird happened to the series when it came back but I can't put my finger on it. I don't know if it's the Fry and Leela thing (which I still see as very odd) or a lot more prevalent sexualization (as far as I've noticed). But I still love the new episodes because they retain a lot of the great qualities of early seasons.
You do it too? I love those! I feel especially close to Billy West when he speaks, but it's neat to hear John cheerfully acknowledge that he cries at some of the emotional stories, or even get Tress to join in sometimes. I learn to appreciate the jokes in ways I didn't the first time, usually because they flew past too fast.
