At 12:30 am I witnessed the end of what was a great anime. Sad thing is, I think they coulda extended the story just a little without being ridiculous about it. I'm just sad to see a good anime like this go. It's not even getting re-runs like FMA and other great anime in the past have, it's being replaced by old shows that are only new to Toonami. -Sigh- Go ahead and discuss, I've said my peace for now.
I was seriously disappointed in deadman wonderland, it started out fantastic, I was like gore and horror ! but the plot was dull to me by episode 3 so yay for spoilers I learned the entire series in a matter of minutes. the way it ended was sort of abrupt, it was like they ran out of money/ideas at the last episode and left it with so many holes, Swiss Cheese is jealous
I had high expectations about Deadman Wonderland; in my opinion, the anime started greatly, but the development of the story started to decrease some chapters later. And the ending was the part which disappointed me the most. I don't know, I think it has a cool plot but could have been developed MUCH better.
So did I. When someone told me last night was the last episode (before Toonami came on) I was like, "Askskskjsdakjfsal What!?" It was such a short series that had the potential to be pretty good. They coulda took 24-51 episodes if they wanted and it woulda' been a lot better because a lot more could be explained.
