Am I the only one to see that there's nothing new in this movie?
I mean, they only reuse ideas developped in Spider-man, The Silence of the Lambs, Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children, etc.
Forget it's Batman, and you'll see.

Well many aspects of the trailer seem to reflect the plot of the original Batman movie. But if this film is as half as mind-blowing as Batman Begins then there should be no complaints. And yes, like Nicholson before him, it looks like Heath Ledger is going to steal the show with his performance.

they are also using ideas from batman comics tweak them to adapt these modern times ala Nolan and viola!

i think the only relatable thing between the original movie and this is the joker and batman as characters...
coz in the end their portrayal is different..i think.

I don't believe they tackled the theme of escalation before, which is the main theme of this movie. What do you suppose they'll be repeating this time around?

Your judging it on a trailer. Dont you think you have to actually see the finished film before you judge it ?

Batman begins was one of the best film's ive ever seen and The Dark Knight looks like its going to be brilliant...Well as long as Robin dosent turn up

i think that for a batman movie.. for a real story based on the comics themselves and not just the imagination of a man (Burton...which was great at the time mind you), it is very true in its nature (as narrated by the comic writers themselves) and will deliver something new and unexpected.

we just have to wait and see....i could be disapointed
