some sports games have a liscense so that no other game of the same sport can have official teams and players. that's annoying, and only makes it worse

i also hate it when games are rushed. i'd rather wait.

Lack of backward compatibility. Means I can't sell my old system to make money to get the new one.

Games that lack multiplayer capabilities for people who DON'T play online. I just want to be able to hook up 2 controllers and play at my house darnit! Online is great and all, but sometimes I want something on a personal level.

Capcom: Killing the Mega Man franchise by recycling the same content every year.
Nintendo: Appealing to the family-friendly market by making their games very easy. Metroid Prime 3 is breaking this trend, thankfully.
Namco: Not releasing other Tales games in the U.S.
Square-Enix: Doing their best to appeal to fanboys and goths with more style than need be. Granted, Kingdom Hearts II was a very well-done game and I still love it to this day. However, the same cannot be said for their other recent titles. Also re-releasing Final Fantasy IV yet again, even though it was on GBA just two years ago.
Konami: They ended MGO last April, what else?

1. When they make a shitty game. (No brainer there)
2. Release such a good-looking game I go out and buy it immediately only to discover 2 months later that a Special Edition is coming out, at full price usually. (Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition, for one.)
3. Release a game that my poor ass desperately wants to play, but not release it in my country. (Namco x Capcom, for one.)
