Rumors have it that the story will be about a patient in a institution. Though none of this has been confirmed. The story will play where you take the role of a man, and you play through his flashbacks of Silent Hill. Not too much else is known. But as said, these are only rumors floating around. Don't get mad if it's something completely different.

Akira Yamaoka shot down that rumour I think. 'Tis a shame considering we know pretty much nothing about it except that it'll most likely be on next-gen consoles.

Maybe, hopefully. I think PS3 might be scheduled for sometime next year, but that might be too soon for #5. Who knows, here's hoping you're right. :giggle:

I heard during an interview a while ago with the creator that he may consider doing a Silent hill game in the first person, not sure if this would be the next one though. Maybe in another one?

That'd would be way interesting. Definetly a change.

PS3 is scheduled for June next year. I do believe we will have to wait longer than that to get SH5...way to early for the games release sadly.

Hopefully we'll have more news on the movie before then.
