Any tips on soft resetting ORAS?
I'm trying to get a shiny reshiram through soft reset- but... Uhh... I have had little to no success.. Any tips? .-.

what is ORAS
Have you got the Shiny Charm? I know it's a little obvious, but the likelihood of encountering a shiny will skyrocket once you've got your charm. The odds shift from approximately 1 in 4096 to 1 in 1365, according to Serebii.
I haven't- but I don't know any dex fillers.
Completing the Pokédex is easier now that a lot of the older legendaries are available via OR/AS. The Friend Safari in X & Y and the Global Trade Station are also very useful for getting any Pokémon you might be missing - I'd highly recommend it (not only for the Shiny Charm, but the Egg Charm as well). ^-^
