What are your legit shinies?
"Legit" meaning no cheats like Action Replay.
I have a shiny Croagunk in Platinum...no idea how I got it, but it's legit.
I got a shiny pidgey in HeartGold while I was EV training my Jolteon.
MOST AMAZING FEELING EVER. When you get a legit shiny, it's like winning the lottery.

I got a shiny Chingling which I evolved into a Chimecho in Platinum. It was a shock since I wasn't expecting any shinies to cross my path.
I had a shiny Sealeo in Ruby, and a shiny Krickitune in Pearl. Caught them both randomly. Don't even have those games anymore, though. 
Let's see.

my first legit shiny pokemon was a magikarp in sapphire.
my second was a geodude
my third was a phantump (and I dropped my DS with excitment, fuck)

I've been playing pokemon for about 11 years now and have NEVER caught a shiny, I don't even know if I have come ACROSS oneXD
I randomly came a cross a shiny Shelmet(Caught it) and I accidently killed a shiny Sableye years ago in Emerald. That's really it.

I wish I had a shiny Sceptile. I plan on breeding for shiny Treecko one day... I'm going to breed for Slurpuff next though, I have a 5IV, female, Belly Drum, HA, Japanese Swirlix in a Luxury Ball that I got through Wonder Trade.
Is breeding time consuming? I've wanted to try but not sure xD
Yeah, it is, unless you have the Shiny Charm and/or a foreign Pokemon. Hatching Power Lv. 3 or MAX and a Flame Body/Magma Armor Pokemon (Talonflame/Volcarona are the best ones) is helpful too.
You could always do chain fishing too. In ORAS, there's two spots where Feebas has a 100% find rate... If you pair that with a Pokemon with Suction Cups, that's a free shiny Feebas/Milotic.

Well, with both the shiny charm and Masuda method, you can lower your odds to 1/1024 eggs. That's the lowest you can get it breeding wise.

Yep, and I'm currently working on a shiny Protean Froakie with 5+ perfect IVs and Timid nature. I just got the shiny charm, and I have a 5 IV, Protean, Japanese Froakie to help. I'm really hoping the first Shiny Froakie is good.

My first one was a shiny Relicanth while I was chain fishing. (I was trying to get a shiny Clawitzer, but I came across the Relicanth and thought "Alright it's not what I was looking for, but a shiny is a shiny, so I'll take it)
My second one was a shiny Scolipede that I got using the masuda method (It took me about 170+ eggs to get)
Both of them I got in my Pokémon X game.
